Marra & Glick ABA Announces a Book Signing Event Honoring First-Time Author Ben Blanchet

Ben Blanchet is a 13-year-old boy and author who has been diagnosed with autism. He has many unique interests and abilities—abilities he refers to as his superpowers!

On Saturday, June 1 from 11am-1pm Marra & Glick ABA will host a Book Signing Event in honor of first-time author, Ben Blanchet. Ben’s authorial debut of Maybe Autism Is My Superpower, details a fascinating conversation between a mom and her son who has autism. Recently highlighted by Fios1 News, Maybe Autism Is My Superpower has gone viral on the web!

After seeing a superhero movie, Ben decided that maybe autism is his superpower. The book, illustrated by Ben’s sister, Lily, describes the unique ways he hears, sees, and thinks about the world around him. His amazing narrative of his special gifts will help you understand how autism really is a superpower. The commentary throughout the book is written with his mom, Angela Blanchet.

All are welcome! Guests are invited to come dressed as their favorite superhero and share their own superpowers with Ben! He is currently working on his second book and is looking for inspiration from others affected by autism spectrum disorders. Join MGABA for fun, games, and refreshments!
