Kids Can Enjoy a Free Meal at Per Se This September

Per Se, the acclaimed French restaurant in Columbus Circle, will be offering a seven-course menu to kids for free on September 18.

Fine dining with kids is a challenge, and though we want our kids to be cultured and have a well-developed palate, it’s hard to develop table manners at a restaurant when they need more experience dining out at an upscale establishment.

It’s also no secret that New York City has some of the best restaurants in the world, and to be able to dine out at one of these higher end places is quite a treat. For one day only, you can take your little one to Per Se for a free seven-course meal.

Per Se is an acclaimed French restaurant in the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle by chef and restaurateur Thomas Keller of other notable restaurants like The French Laundry in Napa Valley, California. The restaurant holds three Michelin stars and other accolades from organizations like the James Beard Foundation.

On Sunday, September 18, Keller is opening the restaurant’s doors to patrons 16 and younger for a free seven-course lunch from 11am-1:30pm, according to The New York Times. Accompanying adults will be charged $215, which does not include alcoholic beverages. The menu has not been released, however Per Se’s menu changes on a daily basis.

Per Se is not the first to introduce fine dining for kids. Nibble+squeak is a fine dining club that hosts food events for families with young children and frequently has events in New York City, including one that happened at Landmarc back in May at the Time Warner Center.

It is highly encouraged to make reservations now for the meal at Per Se, as seats are limited. To reserve a seat, call 212-823-9352 or email [email protected]
